Polylactic Acid

The most popular 3D printing filament worldwide. PLA is derived from renewable resources like corn starch, prints easily with minimal warping, and is available in hundreds of colors. It is the default choice for beginners, rapid prototyping, and decorative prints.

نصائح الطباعة

  • Start at 200°C nozzle and 60°C bed — adjust in 5°C increments if you see stringing or poor adhesion.
  • Use 100% part cooling fan after the first layer for the sharpest overhangs and bridges.
  • A textured PEI sheet gives excellent adhesion without glue — parts pop off when the bed cools.
  • PLA is not UV-stable: parts left in direct sunlight will warp and yellow within weeks.
  • Store spools in a sealed bag with desiccant — even mild moisture causes popping and surface roughness.
  • For stronger parts, increase wall count to 4 and use 40-60% infill instead of raising temperature.
