UV-Curable Photopolymer Resin

A liquid photopolymer cured by UV light in resin (SLA/MSLA/DLP) printers. Resin produces the highest detail resolution of any 3D printing material — perfect for miniatures, jewelry, and dental models. Requires gloves, ventilation, and UV post-curing.

Printing Tips

  • ALWAYS wear nitrile gloves when handling uncured resin — it causes skin sensitization with repeated exposure.
  • Print in a ventilated area or use a carbon filter. Resin fumes are irritating and potentially harmful.
  • Wash prints in 95%+ IPA for 3-5 minutes, then UV cure for 5-10 minutes for full mechanical properties.
  • Use a 0.05mm layer height for miniatures and 0.1mm for functional parts. Thinner layers = longer print times.
  • Shake the resin bottle thoroughly before pouring — pigments settle and cause color inconsistencies.
  • FEP film on the vat wears out every 10-20 prints. Keep spares on hand and replace when prints start failing.
