CPE
IntermediateCo-Polyester
CPE is a high-performance co-polyester that offers better heat resistance and chemical durability than standard PETG while remaining easier to print than engineering polymers like nylon or polycarbonate. It delivers excellent layer adhesion, low warping, and a semi-glossy surface finish suited to both functional and aesthetic parts.
Nozzle Temp240–270°C
Bed Temp75–90°C
Print Speed30–50 mm/s
Printing Tips
- Dry the filament at 65 °C for 4-6 hours before printing — CPE absorbs moisture faster than standard PETG.
- Use a PEI build surface heated to 80-85 °C for strong first-layer adhesion without warping.
- Set part-cooling fan to 25-50% — too much cooling weakens interlayer bonding, too little causes curling on overhangs.
- A 0.6 mm nozzle improves flow consistency and reduces the risk of partial clogs with this higher-temp polyester.
- Keep ambient temperature stable; drafts around the print area can cause corner lifting on larger parts.
- Tune linear advance or pressure advance to prevent bulging at corners and improve dimensional accuracy.
