PLA+
BeginnerEnhanced Polylactic Acid
An upgraded PLA with significantly better impact resistance and slightly higher heat tolerance. PLA+ prints just as easily as standard PLA but produces parts that are less brittle and more durable for functional use.

Printing Tips
- Print 5-10°C hotter than standard PLA — PLA+ flows better at 210-215°C for most brands.
- Reduce cooling fan to 80% for better layer adhesion while still maintaining overhang quality.
- eSUN and Polymaker PLA+ are the most consistent brands — results vary widely between manufacturers.
- PLA+ benefits from slower first layer speed (20 mm/s) more than standard PLA does.
- For impact-resistant parts, use 3+ walls and 25%+ gyroid infill — PLA+ excels with thicker walls.
