PEEK
AdvancedPolyether Ether Ketone
The pinnacle of 3D-printable engineering polymers. PEEK offers metal-like mechanical properties, continuous operating temperatures above 250°C, and exceptional chemical resistance. It is used in aerospace, medical implants, and oil-and-gas applications, but requires specialized high-temperature printers that can sustain 400°C+ nozzle and 150°C+ chamber temperatures.

نصائح الطباعة
- A standard desktop printer cannot print PEEK — you need an all-metal hot end rated to 450°C and a heated chamber above 120°C.
- Use a hardened steel or ruby nozzle; PEEK's processing temperature will degrade brass nozzles rapidly.
- Chamber temperature must stay above 120°C throughout the print to prevent crystallization-related cracking between layers.
- Post-print annealing at 200°C for 2-4 hours dramatically improves crystallinity, strength, and heat resistance.
- PEEK is hygroscopic — dry at 150°C for 3-4 hours immediately before printing; even minor moisture causes delamination.
