Bed Adhesion
PAHT-CF (high-temperature nylon-CF) requires Garolite (G10) sheet or high-temp PEI at 100-120°C. A brim is essential. Enclosure is mandatory. Print from a dry box. Magigoo PA adhesive provides the best results.
Temperature Tuning Guide
Nozzle: 295°C
Range: 280-310°C. Printer max: 300°C.
- Poor layer adhesion? Increase +5°C
- Stringing or oozing? Decrease -5°C
- Print a temperature tower to find your exact sweet spot
Bed: 110°C
Range: 100-120°C. Printer max: 110°C.
- First layer lifting? Increase +5°C
- Elephant's foot? Decrease -5°C
- Let the bed fully preheat before starting
Troubleshooting PAHT-CF on Anycubic Kobra 3 Combo
Pro Tips for PAHT-CF
PAHT-CF is one of the most demanding filaments to print -- industrial-grade setup recommended
Requires 280-310°C nozzle, 100-120°C bed, and sealed enclosure
Dry at 90°C for 12+ hours; PAHT-CF is extremely hygroscopic
The reward is exceptional heat resistance (HDT >200°C) and stiffness
Support Settings
For prints requiring supports with PAHT-CF, use tree supports for easier removal and less scarring. Set a 0.15-0.2mm Z-distance between support and model. If you have a dual-extruder setup, consider PVA (for PLA/PETG) or HIPS (for ABS) as dedicated water/solvent-soluble support material.
