How to 3D print the Panama flag

A quartered flag with white and red rectangles top, blue and white rectangles bottom, and a blue star in the upper white quarter and a red star in the lower white quarter.

The four-quarter layout prints cleanly as a flat relief, but the two five-pointed stars sit inside the white quarters and need crisp points, so emboss them slightly raised rather than recessing fine inner cuts. A color-change print works well: swap between white, red, and blue PLA quarter by quarter, and print the stars as a thin raised layer in their contrasting colors. Keep the stars generously sized so the points stay sharp on a 0.4mm nozzle.
