Last updated: March 31, 2026

At 3DSearch, we believe in being straightforward about how we handle your data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have over it.

1. Data Controller

3DSearch is operated by Basel Ganaim, Israel. For any privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at basalteen3@gmail.com.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect only what we need to make the service work well for you:

  • Account information: Your name, email address, and profile photo when you sign up via email, Google OAuth, or Facebook Login.
  • Search queries: The terms you search for on 3DSearch.
  • Printer preferences: The printer model and filament type you select when generating AI slicer settings.
  • IP addresses: We collect IP addresses for rate limiting, analytics, and fraud prevention.
  • Usage data: Basic analytics like page views, feature usage, and session duration to help us improve the product.
  • Device information: Browser type, operating system, and screen size for ensuring compatibility.
  • Payment information: If you subscribe to Pro, payment details are collected and processed by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store your credit card number.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Improve search results: We analyze aggregate search patterns to understand what people are looking for and improve result ranking.
  • Personalize your experience: Your saved printer and filament preferences let us pre-fill settings so you don't have to reconfigure every time.
  • Generate AI settings: Your printer, filament, and selected model URL are sent to our AI provider to generate slicer settings.
  • Communicate with you: We may send service-related emails (account verification, important updates). We will never spam you.
  • Improve the service: Aggregate, anonymized usage data helps us understand which features are valuable and where to invest effort.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your personal data based on the following legal grounds:

  • Consent: For cookies, marketing communications, and personalized advertising. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Contract performance: Processing necessary to provide your account, subscriptions, and the core search service.
  • Legitimate interest: Analytics, security, fraud prevention, and service improvement, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
