Wood PLA adheres well to PEI sheets and glass beds with glue stick. Same adhesion approach as regular PLA. The wood fibers can make the first layer slightly rougher.

Experiment with temperature to control the wood color: lower temps = lighter, higher temps = darker
Use a 0.6mm nozzle to prevent clogging from wood particles
Never leave wood PLA idle in a hot nozzle -- the wood fibers will char and cause a permanent clog
Finished prints can be sanded and stained just like real wood for stunning results
Vase mode prints with wood PLA create beautiful, natural-looking decorative pieces
