The UltiMaker Method XL has a max nozzle temperature of 300°C, which may be below the minimum recommended 370°C for PEEK. Printing may be possible at the lower end of the temperature range but results may be suboptimal. The max bed temperature of 110°C is below the recommended 130°C for PEEK. Adhesion may be poor without additional bed adhesion aids.

  • If you need PEEK specifically, you'll need a printer with an all-metal hotend rated for 370°C+ nozzle and 130°C+ heated bed.
