I tried nearly every filament clip available across Printables, Thingiverse, and MakerWorld. Each one fell short in at least one critical way: too loose on the spool, too stiff to install, too aggressive on filament, incompatible with different spool designs, or simply awkward to use. So I designed this one from scratch. This clip is engineered to be a true universal filament clip, working reliably across 200 g to 3 kg spools, plastic and cardboard, and a wide range of filament brands and spool geometries.
