Dice and Mini Box with Rolling Tray

A dice box I designed in preparation for my party's first DnD campaign. I wanted room for at least 2 sets of dice, a mini, and a rolling tray with felt/foam lined pockets to prevent the contents from rattling around. The overall size of the box was driven by the rolling tray in the lid. After trying a few different sizes, I decided on 7" x 5". I thought it was a good compromise between having enough rolling area without taking up too much space on the table. The two long pockets can each hold a set of standard dice, and two center pockets can each hold 1-2 minis (depending on the size) or more dice. Foam pieces cushion the bottom of the pockets, and I lined the rolling tray with felt. When the lid is on the box, it slightly compresses the dice into the foam, holding them in place even if the box is shaken around. Since the center pockets are deeper, I'd recommend using two pieces of foam if you want to store dice in there. The lid is held on via 1/4" x 3/16" circu
