This clamping strain relief device is used to hold ethernet cables in position behind a rack, NVR, hub or modem. Specifically for the NVR it is important to put the cables back to the same position when reconnecting and this clamping strain relief achieves that. It holds each cable in position while at the same time providing strain relief through the collective stress of all the cable connections. Whether you are unplugging one connection or all connections from your hub or NVR this device is helpful in managing and restraining the cables. Should work with most cables and will provide some gentle clamping on most CaT5e and CAT6 cables.
