Description

Small cyclone vacuum for CNC machines - primarily for PCB milling. Adjustable nozzle height to fit engraver/drill bit length/travel. Printed in transparent PETG, and the cyclone housing is about 1mm thick for visibility - since I doubted this thing would work at all.. All parts except the nozzle can be printed without support. The latter needs support "touching bed" since the inner "tubing" part is elevated a bit to catch debris being flung of the engraver/drill. Fan used is a generic "DC12V 4500RPM Brushless Cooling Turbine Air Blower Fan For BBQ Barbecue Stove" from ebay. I made a fitting for 64X45X12mm HEPA filter, same size as for example my Panda X600 robot vacuum (and many others). I added a mosfet and are using the GRBL coolant control (pin A3, gcode M8 on, M9 off) to turn the fan on/off via gcode - cause why not.. :) Tubing used is 12mm id x 16mm od silicone. I originally planned a nozzle contraption for "freehand" vacuuming, but just using the tube works well. To
