A complete copper alloy ring of a dark brown colour. The darker colouring may be due to waterlogged condition of the soil, and there are areas of wear and chipping where the green colouring of copper alloy are visible. The object is annular with a D-shaped cross section; it has a flat interior and a convex exterior. The centre has two groove. There is one groove at the top and bottom of the ring.
