The Princely Court of Târgoviște

The Princely Court of Târgoviște has traversed centuries of history. Likely erected by Nicolae Alexandru around 1360, the residence was a stone-based structure with a cellar and ground floor, surrounded by a tree trunk fortification. Archaeological discoveries from 2014-2018 pushed its origins back by 1/2 century.
