Filigree Eye Necklace

My eye will never be neutral, it will always be informed by my culture. A metal supporting structure is placed around an eye. A structure of looking, of understanding, of existing. We all live within our structures of culture. Mine being an eye informed by a civil war, by a country which no longer exists: Yugoslavia.
