When a Pollant finds itself in a area lacking in nutrients. Dionaeant supplement their diet by becoming ambush predators. They ly in wait for prey to enter their jaws. They can even hunt while asleep because their jaws are lined with sensory hairs they trigger a reflex in the jaw that snaps them shut.
