This model complements the original L1–L5 vertebral assembly from MakerWorld with a missing spinal cord and two intervertebral discs. Supplementation with the spinal cord and intervertebral discs allows for better demonstration of the anatomy and function of the lumbar spine, including disc herniation (here between L4 and L5) and contact with nerve ducts from the spinal cord.
