This is a new/different design that addresses some of the feature requests from the previous version.It can stand vertically on its own without needing an additional vertical stand.There is more space internally, making it easier to mount and remove cardboard spools.The buckers are bigger and deeper to accommodate larger spools.You'll need to remove the original tripod mount to use this enclosure.This is not compatible with top mounting.
