The diameter for the mugs is 4.2in, It fits the Yeti mug and the Nextmug, and any others that fit that 4.2in diameter. There's two versions, Tall and Short version, the short one is an inch shorter and fits the Yeti mug perfectly! The bottom diameter for the cup holder in the car is about 3in
